The first quarter of 2023 saw interesting trends for the top five Art and Design apps on the Android platform in the United Arab Emirates. Here's a closer look at their performance based on Sensor Tower's data.

Canva: Design, Art & AI Editor demonstrated robust growth in revenue, starting the quarter with approximately $1.5K and peaking at $3.1K in the last week of March. Downloads fluctuated between 2.9K and 4.5K weekly, while active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 59K to 62K throughout the quarter.

Dawn AI - Avatar Generator experienced a notable decline in downloads from 6.3K at the start of the year to just 74 by the end of March. Revenue also saw a downward trend, from $1.1K in the first week of January to $308 in the last week of March. Active user numbers dropped steadily from 44K to approximately 27K.

Wonder - AI Art Generator showed a decrease in weekly downloads, starting from 5K and dropping to under 100 by the end of March. Revenue also declined from $568 to $223 over the same period. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 13.8K to 8.1K.

ARTA: AI Art & Photo Generator had a mixed quarter. Revenue fluctuated, peaking at $353 in early January and falling to a low of $30 in mid-March, before bouncing back to $185. Downloads started at 76 and peaked at 1.5K in early January, stabilizing around 200 towards the end of the quarter. Active users increased from 73 to 305 over the quarter.

Voi - AI Avatar Portrait Maker saw relatively stable performance in terms of active users, varying between 200 and 569. Revenue increased from $140 in late December to $250 in late February before declining to $61 by the end of March. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 274 and ending at 105.
